TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on approval of an Easement for Electric Lines with Electrical District No. 3 for the Police Administration and 911 Dispatch.  Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The City previously entered into a Design and Construction Agreement with Electric District No. 3 (ED3) to provide power for the Police Administration and 911 Dispatch facility. ED3 has completed the design and Caliente, the Project Construction Contractor, has installed the conduit raceways per that design.  The Terms and Conditions of the Design and Construction Agreement state the City of Maricopa shall provide ED3 an easement so they may access and maintain their electric facilities on the City’s Police Administration and 911 Dispatch site.

 

This item will be presented by Public Works Director Keith Brown.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the Easement for Electric Line with Electrical District No. 3 for the Police Administration and 911 Dispatch facility.
