TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, adopting an amended fee schedule for the rental of facilities owned by the City of Maricopa, including reduced fees for rooms, open space, and courts. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The current rental fee schedule was approved on 12/5/2023. Staff presented this item to City Council on 1/21/25. Staff have also presented to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee, Cultural Affairs and Arts Advisory Committee, and the Senior Advisory Committee in 11/25 and received additional feedback. Upon review of utilization rates of facilities, market rate for rentals, and feedback from City Council, Advisory Committees, and members of the public, staff have proposed the reduction of rental fees to increase utilization and provide additional benefit to Maricopa residents.
