TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on appointing one citizen to fill a vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On June 4, 2014, staff received a resignation letter from Scott McDougal therefore creating a vacancy on the commission. Staff began recruiting immediately after the resignation. Staff has since received applications from David Carlson and James Irving. This nomination will be made by Councilmember Brown.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Councilmember Brown nominate one citizen to fill the vacancy on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
