TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on extending the Agreement for Recycling and Household Hazardous Waste Collection Services with Environmental Concerns Organization, Inc., an Arizona non-profit corporation, which was approved on September 16, 2014 and authorizing City Manager Gregory Rose to execute any and all documents necessary to amend this agreement. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
In June of 2014 staff posted a request for proposal (RFP) for recycling and household hazardous waste collection services (RFP: 15CM062514). Environmental Concerns Organization, Inc. was the only respondent and was deemed responsive. After negotiations with the applicant, staff is bringing forward to Council an agreement whereby the required hours of operation are reduced to 15 hours per week and the required Household Hazardous Waste Events is reduced to one (1) event per year. All other stipulations of the original scope remain intact. The Current agreement is a $45,000.00 per month, month-to-month agreement ending on December 31, 2014.
