TITLE
A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting the first amendment to the Intergovernmental/Development Agreement between the City of Maricopa and Pinal County Community College District, a non-profit public education institution of the State of Arizona, in compliance with A.R.S. §9-500.05. Discussion and Action.

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Per the City's Purchasing Code, the improvements described for Regent Drive would be required to be advertised for bids.  Central Arizona College (CAC) already had a contractor under contract and wished to perform the work themselves.  The original Development Agreement called for the City to perform this construction, and CAC reimbursing the City for all documented construction costs.  This amendment merely shifts the responsibility to CAC to perform the construction, and no longer requires them to reimburse the City for any construction costs not already incurred by the City.  As the City was already to be reimbursed, this amendment has no financial impact on the City.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the amendment to the existing Development Agreement between the City and Central Arizona College.
