The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for the Copa Glow Night Market that is planned for January 15, 2021 at Copper Sky, Ellen Buddington has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is the second year holding this community event. Copa Glow Night Market provides an opportunity for our community to join together, while socially distancing and foster community spirit through enjoying a hot air balloon glow, the opportunity for tethered rides, local crafters and vendors and a craft beer garden. Staff is currently working with Native New Yorker in preparing for this event and everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the second annual Copa Glow Night Market on January 15, 2021.
