AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This project will span two fiscal years, with Phase I from December 3, 2014 through June 30, 2015, and Phase II from July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016. The amount of $338,000 for Phase I was approved in the current Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and Budget and identified in the Scope of Work through June 30, 2015. Additional funding in the amount of $239,580, to pay for additional tasks identified in Phase II, will be included in the CIP and Budget Request for FY15/16. The additional tasks were identified after the original $338,000 was identified and requested in the current year CIP and Budget. The City will have no obligation to proceed past Phase I unless additional funding for Phase II is approved in the FY 15/16 CIP and Budget process.

The Regional Transportation Plan 2015 Update study is a comprehensive project intended to create a transportation network that will serve Maricopa for decades. The study will focus on three areas: (1) Creation of a City Master Transportation Plan (2) Update of our Regional Transportation Plan to ensure regional connectivity (3) Completion of a comprehensive analysis of transportation revenue.
