The Mayor and City Council shall hear a Legislative Update on the 2015 State Legislative Session. Discussion and direction.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The State of Arizona convened the First Regular Session of the Fifty-second Legislature on January 12, 2015. On January 20, 2015, the City of Maricopa City Council passed a 2015 Legislative Platform. As part of that platform, staff made a commitment to give periodic updates to Council on activities of the 2015 State Legislative Session and progress on implementing our 2015 Legislative Platform. This presentation represents staffs efforts to fulfill that commitment.
