TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on authorizing the City Manager to execute a Lift Station Easement Agreement with Global Water - Palo Verde Utilities, Inc., an Arizona corporation. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The City of Maricopa is the owner of property located in the general area known as Southbridge Marketplace located at the southeast corner of John Wayne Parkway and W. Honeycutt Ave. extension. This area requires the installation and operation of critical infrastructure to support the current and future needs. The city desired to grant Global Water with an exclusive, perpetual easement for construction, operation, and exclusive use of a sewer lift station and associated wastewater infrastructure.
Global Water shall be permitted to use the easement area for the development, installation, construction, reconstruction, operation, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement and removal of sewer, etc. This easement if vital for the proper functioning of the wastewater system and to meet the growing needs of new developments within Southbridge Marketplace.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and Council authorize the City Manager to execute a Lift Station Easement Agreement with Global Water - Palo Verde Utilities, Inc., an Arizona corporation for the construction, operation, and exclusive use of a sewer lift station.
