AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

 

As part of the development of Hampton Edison, the developer constructed a drainage channel for the benefit of their property.  The City anticipates the need to control, maintain and potentially enhance this drainage channel in a way that will result in a regional benefit to multiple properties in the area.  This resolution authorizes the acquisition of the necessary property to obtain control of this drainage channel and authorizes the City Manager to execute all agreements related to such acquisitions. This item is in response to a recent property boundary dispute, and this action would allow staff to comply with the previously-approved settlement agreement.
