The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on authorizing City Manager Gregory Rose to submit a Group Vision Application with Superior Vision regarding a new vision insurance plan in an amount not to exceed $34,000 per year to be paid from the General Fund.   Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

This new vision insurance plan offers a 3% reduction in premium, a four and a half year rate guarantee, and an extensive network of vision providers. 

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

 

The Human Resources Department recommends authorizing City Manager Gregory Rose to submit an application with Superior Vision regarding a new vision insurance plan.
