TITLE
PUBLIC HEARING. A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting a Minor General Plan Land Use Amendment to change the land use from existing Commercial (C), Medium Density Residential (M), and Master Planned Community (MPC) to Mixed Use (MU) for approximately 184 acres of land known as Assessor Parcel Nos. 510-73-001K and 510-73-001L and generally located at the southeast corner of N. John Wayne Pkwy. and W. Farrell Rd., within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits, as described in case # GPA23-05. The parcel of land is located in a portion of the west half of Section 3, Township 5 South, Range 3 East of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Pinal County, Arizona. Discussion and Action.

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, finding certain facts and adopting the proposed Major General Plan Amendment to the General Plan of the City of Maricopa, Arizona to change the land use from Commercial (C), Medium Density Residential (M), and Master Planned Community (MPC) to Mixed Use (MU) on approximately 184 +/- acres of land generally located at the southeast corner of N. John Wayne Pkwy. and W. Farrell Rd., within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits, as requested by Rose Law Group on behalf of property owner SP DUNN/Ak Chin, LLC, in Case # GPA23-05.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
On May 12, 2025, the Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously recommended that the City Council approve Case # GPA2, and adopt Resolution 25-22.
