TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on recommending approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License application submitted by Wendy Weber on behalf of the Province Community Association for special events to be held on September 15, October 20, November 17, and December 15, 2016, January 19, February 16, March 16, April 20, and May 18, 2017 to be held at 20942 N. Province Parkway, Maricopa, Arizona 85138. Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

Staff received a request from Wendy Weber on behalf of Province Community Association for approval of a Special Event Liquor License for an event known as Community Happy Hour which is held monthly on Thursday's from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the dates listed above.  These events will be held at the Province Community Center which is located within Province at 20942 N Province Parkway, Maricopa, Arizona 85138.  Province Community Association staff will be on duty to monitor the event and they also contract a security company that is on duty 24 hours a day.

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor License and Control for the special event permit applications as submitted.
