TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on appointing one citizen to fill the vacancy on the Merit Board. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Staff has been recruiting since October 2013 to fill a vacancy on the board. Since we began recruiting a year ago, staff has received one application from Mr. David Carlson. His application is attached to this packet.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that Council consider appointing Mr. Carlson to the board.
