The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on recommending approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for an application for a special event liquor license provided by Brenda Campbell to allow Roots Eatery to serve alcohol during a special event known as Great American 4th on July 4, 2025 at Copper Sky Recreation Complex 44345 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd Maricopa, AZ 85138. AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The state of Arizona department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an application for a special event license be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for the Great American 4th that is planned for July 4, 2025 at Copper Sky, Brenda Campbell has applied for the City Council's consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is the annual Independence Day celebration event. A celebration of America is the focus and being able to incorporate alcoholic beverages in the beer garden provides a unique element of the event when blended with live entertainment. We will be charging for parking and strongly encouraging pre-sale parking and complimentary shuttle service.
