TITLE

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On October 4, Councilmember Alan Marchione resigned his position as Councilmember of the City of Maricopa effective immediately.
 
On October 16, the City Council approved an application and directed staff to accept applications beginning October 17 through 5 p.m. October 30.  As of 5:00 p.m. on October 30, staff received 17 applications from the following:

Since then Mr. John Beatty has withdrawn his application.
 
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council discuss and possibly take action on selecting and swearing in one citizen to fill the vacancy on the City Council.
