AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
CORE is currently under contract for Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) Preconstruction Services for phase 1 of the Multigenerational/Aquatic Facility, which included development of an approximate 50,000 square foot building with a small lap pool; awarded on March 6, 2012 for $143,600.  On September 4, 2012 the City Council made the decision to move forward with full build-out of the facility.  Full build-out includes the addition of the complete aquatic facility (competition pool, recreational pool, splash pad, etc.) and ancillary amenities.  This change order accounts for the additional scope of work to coordinate and assist with the design phase of the facility.
City staff and Abacus Project Management have reviewed the proposal and have negotiated and agreed upon the scope and fee.  For a complete scope of work and cost breakdown see the attached contract exhibit.
