The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for their Hog Roast fundraising event that is planned for Saturday, October 27 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Wayne Santi has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is the first year in holding this parish fundraiser. Staff has reviewed, commented and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the Hog Roast on October 27, 2012.
