AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On October 7, 2015, the City Council approved an Intergovernmental Agreement with Pinal County for the co-location and operation of limited jurisidiction courts. Several Judge Pro Tempores serve both the Justice Court and Municipal Court. This resolution would set the compensation of the Judge Pro Tempores serving in the Municipal Court at the same rate as the Judge Pro Tempores serving in the Justice Court. Pursuant to A.R.S. 22-122(D), Judge Pro Tempores serving in the Justice Court are entitled to receive the same compensation as the Justice of the Peace.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the Resolution to set the compensation for Judge Pro Tempores serving in the Maricopa Municipal Court.
