TITLE
A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving the renaming of N. Caven Drive, which is located within the subdivsion of Rancho El Dorado in the City of Maricopa, to N. Braden Road. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The City of Maricopa is requesting review and approval of the proposed Street Name Change for N. Caven Drive to be renamed N. Braden Road. The proposed Street Name Change is for the street located within the subdivision of Rancho El Dorado. Discussion and Action.
Per City Council direction, staff met with the local Postmaster David Galbraith for additional consultation on the potential transition of affected residents and also utility company representatives. Mr. Galbraith explained that all affected addresses will be linked permanently between the existing and proposed addresses. In the event that the existing addresses change, the new address will continue to receive mail from the old address indefinitely without expiration from the United States Postal Service.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the resolution to rename N. Caven Drive, which is located in the Rancho El Dorado subdivision, to N. Braden Road.
