TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on approving a Public Service Award and Agreement for a one year period with Maricopa Rotary Club in the amount of $10,000 for the  Rotary Park Beautification Project to be paid from the General Fund, Parks Maintenance, Repair and Maintenance. AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
On 9/20/2011, action was taken to provide the Maricopa Rotary Club a matching funds allocation of $10,000 for park beautification.  
 
In March 2012, during a call to the public, JoAnn Ortega, President of the Maricopa Rotary Club approached the Mayor and City Council and advised them the Rotary had raised the matching funds of $10,000 for the beautification project. Verification of the matching amount was provided to the Grants Manager.
 
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approving a Public Service Award and Agrement for a one year period with the Maricopa Rotary Club in the amount of $10,000 for the Rotary Park Beautification Project to be paid from the General Fund, Parks Maintenance, Repair and Maintenance. (10033132-54430)
