TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on recommending approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for an Application for Special Event License submitted by Cory J. Pitman on behalf of RUF MMA for a special event known as RUF MMA 32 on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Copper Sky Multigenerational Center. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office. In preparation for their event planned for Saturday, May 18, 2019 at Copper Sky, Cory J. Pitman has submitted an application for Council consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is the first year in holding this event. Staff is in currently review of commenting and approving the event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.
This item will be presented by Nathan Ullyot, Community Services Director.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
The City Manager recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the RUF mma 32 on May 18, 2019.
