TITLE

A Resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, authorizing the impositions and collection of fees for licensing and regulating the collection, transportation, disposition or recycling of residential, commerical or industrial refuse generated within the City and amending the Solid Waste Fee Schedule.  Disscussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

Ordinance 16-02, if approved by City Council, will amend Section 9-51(e) of the Maricopa City Code to allow a permit fee of a per-vehicle fee in an amount to be established by city coucil or two percent (2%) of the gross receipts, whichever is greater.  The Solid Waste Fee Schedule should be amended to be consistent with this change in City Code. 

 

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

 

 Staff recommends approvel of this resolution to amend the Solid Waste Fee Schedule.
