TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall hear public comment regarding Conditional Use Permit (CUP) 12-01, a request by the City of Maricopa for review and approval of a proposed Public Dog Park.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The City of Maricopa is requesting review and approval of the site plan, hours of use, park rules and term/timeframe of two years for the proposed Public Dog Park. The property is located on the northeast corner of Roosevelt and Lexington Ave., within the City of Maricopa incorporated limits, parcel #510-20-030E.
On April 23, 2012, a motion was made by Planning and Zoning Commissioner Wade to deny the Conditional Use Permit Case# CUP12-01 and was seconded by Commissioner Batt. Voice vote carried the motion 7-0.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City conduct a public hearing for Conditional Use Permit 12-01.
