The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for their parish festival fundraising event that is planned for January 23-25, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Ed Talsness has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is the 8th year in holding this parish fundraiser. Staff has reviewed, commented, and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the 8th Annual Parish Festival on January 23-25, 2015.
