AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.

In preparation for the Yappy Hour at the Dog Park event that is being presented by Carl Diedrich and planned for October 24, 2014 at Copper Sky Dog Park, Kimberly Diedrich on behalf of Pet Social Worker/Tails of Hope has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.

While they have organized multiple Yappy Hour events over the past three years, this is the first year that Pet Social Worker/Tails of Hope is bringing this event to the dog park.  Staff has reviewed, commented and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.

This item will be presented by Niesha Whitman, Special Events and Marketing Manager.
