The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on recommending approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for an Application for submitted by Pat Kieny on behalf of Native Grill and Wings for a special event known as The Copa Color Run on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 44345 W. The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for the Copa Color Run event that is planned for February 20, 2016, at Copper Sky Regional Park, Pat Kieny has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is the 2nd year in holding this event. Staff has reviewed, commented, and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the 2nd Annual Copa Color Fun Run & Walk on February 20, 2016.
