Carl Diedrich has submitted a Special Event Permit Application to hold a special event known as Yappy Hour at the Dog Park on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Copper Sky Dog Park at 44345 W. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
Pet Social Worker/Tails of Hope would like to hold this event for dog owners to be able to bring their pets and socialize with other pet owners. Staff has reviewed, commented and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.
This item will be presented by Niesha Whitman, Special Events and Marketing Manager.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval of the Special Event Permit for Yappy Hour at the Dog Park on October 24, 2014.
