TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve an Easement Encroachment Permit and Indemnification Agreement with Arizona Public Service Company (APS) for the City Complex project. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The City owned property that the City Complex is being built on has an existing APS Right of Way Easement that runs along White & Parker Road on the East side. The City Complex project includes a new roadway and utility lines that cross the APS easement. The existing easement requires the property owner (City) to obtain approval from APS to construct such improvements across the easement.
City staff has coordinated the improvements with APS and this Encroachment Agreement is a result of staff's negotiations with APS for approval to cross their easement.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the APS Easement Encroachment Permit and Indemnification Agreement for the City Complex project.
