TITLE

A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving and adopting a Pre-Annexation Development Agreement between the City of Maricopa and Ham Siena, L.L.C., in compliance with A.R.S. §9-500.05 and pursuant to the terms of Senate Bill 1594, Fifty-Fifth Legislature, Second Regular Session (to be codified as A.R.S. §9-471(T)).  Discussion and Action

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

As part of the Fire Protection Services Agreement with the South Maricopa Fire Association, several owners within the Association agreed to enter into Pre-Annexation Development Agreements to facilitate the annexation and development of their property.  This Agreement with Ham Siena, LLC, allows the City to annex the property when it meets the statutory requirements and allows the owner to develop the property in accordance with final approvals obtain prior to such annexation.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

City staff recommends City Council approve the Pre-Annexation Development Agreement.
