TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action to approve the Sponsorship Agreement with Play it Safe Playgrounds & Park Equipment, Inc. and Chasse Building Team, Inc. related to the new signage for the disc golf course at Copper Sky Regional Park located at 44345 W Martin Luther King Jr Blvd, Maricopa, Pinal County, Arizona and authorizing the City Manager to execute the Agreement and any future amendments related thereto. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
A sponsorship agreement between the City of Maricopa and sponsors consisting of Play it Safe Playgrounds & Park Equipment, Inc and Chasse Building Team, Inc. Under the agreement, Play it Safe Playgrounds and Park Equipment, Inc. will design and provide the disc golf course signage and Chasse Building Team, Inc. will fund all costs associated with the design and production of the signage, in the amount of approximately $9,986.77. This will result in no direct cost to the City.
In exchange, Chasse Building Team will receive exclusive corporate logo placement on the designated course signage for the duration of the five-year term, with final designs subject to mutual approval. The City of Maricopa will retain full ownership, operational control, and maintenance responsibilities for the disc golf course and its facilities. Additionally, the agreement allows the City to terminate the partnership early with a minimum of 60 days' written notice, subject to a reimbursement to Chasse Building Team of $1,000 for each remaining year left in the agreement term.
