TITLE

PUBLIC HEARING:TXT26-02: a request by the City of Maricopa for miscellaneous text revisions to Chapters 10 and 18 of the Maricopa City Code. Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

A request by the City of Maricopa for review and approval of proposed miscellaneous text amendments to Chapters 10 and 18 of the Maricopa City Code. More specifically, Section 10.20 - Stopping, Standing, and Parking, Section 18.76 - Maricopa Station Overlay, and  Section 18.130.140 - Exempt Signs. Discussion and Action.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends Planning and Zoning Commission approve TXT26-02, miscellaneous amendments to Chapters 10 and 18 of the Maricopa City Code, as outlined in Exhibit B and Exhibit D, and contained in the Planning and Zoning Commission staff report dated June 22, 2026.
