Title: The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to approve a Third Amendment to the Award of Contract to FCI Constructors, Inc. for Construction Services for various fire station improvements, in an amount not to exceed $200,000. AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
This project will provide improvements to various fire stations under a single Job Order Contract (JOC). Combining multiple projects into a single JOC will save on management fees.

The projects are:
· Fuel management systems installed at 4 stations. The installation of a fuel card reader system will allow cost tracking by department and vehicle, providing an accurate operation cost per vehicle. The system will secure the tanks from pirating.
· Station Security purchase for stations 571 and 574. This project is for the purchase and installation of hardware and software required to replace and upgrade the current, nonfunctioning security systems at these stations. All hardware and software will link to and match the system at City Hall.
· Repainting of station 574. Station 574 has not been repainted since it was constructed and is showing wear and tear. In order to present a professional image to the community and to maintain the facility in good repair, it is recommended that the entire building be repainted.
· Replacement of bay doors at station 571. Station 571 bay doors are heavy and continually malfunction, inhibiting the ingress and egress of fire apparatus. The doors need to be replaced with lighter doors with comme...
