TITLE
A resolution of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, approving the renaming of N. Robins Drive, which is located within the subdivision of Rancho El Dorado in the City of Maricopa, to N. Falcon Lane. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The City of Maricopa is requesting review and approval of the proposed Street Name Change for N. Robins Drive to be renamed N. Falcon Lane. The proposed Street Name Change is for the street located within the subdivision of Rancho El Dorado.
Per City Council direction, staff met with the local Postmaster David Galbraith for additional consultation on the potential transition of affected residents and also utility company representatives. Mr. Galbraith explained that all affected addresses will be linked permanently between the existing and proposed addresses. In the event that the existing addresses change, the new address will continue to receive mail from the old address indefinitely without expiration from the United States Postal Service.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends approval of the resolution to rename N. Robins Drive, within the Rancho El Dorado subdivition, to N. Falcon Lane.
