The Mayor and City Council shall hear a presentation from Deputy City Manager Ben Bitter showing a video fly-through of planned improvements along Interstate 10, and discussing the positive impacts these may have on Maricopa. Discussion only.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
ADOT has recently submitted an application to the federal government for funding projects along Interstate 10 (from Loop 202 to SR-387 in Casa Grande), and to accomplish widening this portion of the Interstate from 2-lanes to 3-lanes. As part of this effort, ADOT will also be upgrading various interchanges and roadway segments that will have impacts on Maricopa and its traveling public. This video will show some of these designed roadway improvements, including the new diverging diamond interchange planned for the State Route 347 interchange.
