TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to appoint one citizen to fill a vacancy on the Industrial Development Authority Board. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The Indudstrial Development Authority Board is a five (5) member board that currently does not have any active members. Staff would like for the City Council to consider appointing Mr. Quintin Smith to the board so that staff can begin working with Mr. Smith until there are enough members to have an actual meeting. Currently, staff does not have any other applications for the IDA board.
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City Council appoint Mr. Quintin Smith to the IDA board.
