TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on approving a one-time six (6) month extension of final plat approval for case # SUB 22-39 Sorrento Phase 3, Parcel 19 final plat. Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

SUB22-39 Sorrento Phase 3, Parcel 19: The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action on a request, by CVL Consultants on behalf of AZALTA LLLC for a one-time six (6) month extension of the final plat expiration date, approved on July 16, 2024 for Sorrento Phase 3, Parcel 19. This is a 119 single family lot subdivision located north of Farrell Road, west of Hartman Road, south of Bowlin Road and east of Fuqua Road, within the incorporated limits of the City of Maricopa.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Based on the circumstances presented by the applicant in the attached letter (see Exhibit C), it is the City Council's sole discretion to allow for a one time only extension of an additional six (6) months for the final plat SUB22-39, to adhere to Chapter 17.20.060-F of the City's Subdivision Ordinance, and which will automatically expire on January 15, 2026.
