The State of Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an Application for Special Event License be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for their Bible Bingo fundraising event that is planned for January 10, 2015 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, JoAnn Ortega has submitted an application for Councils' consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
Staff has reviewed, commented, and met with the applicant regarding their event plan. Everything is moving forward in the planning process to ensure satisfaction and safety of all parties.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends the Mayor and City Council consider the approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for a Special Event Liquor License for the Late Nite Catechism on January 10, 2015.
