TITLE

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Jacobs Engineering Group provides stamped engineering services for final plan review approvals.  This contract is to provide plan review services while the City is completing recruitments for existing vacancies; this is needed for the City's continuity of review and approval services for public capital improvement projects as well as private projects.  The extension to the existing contract will allow Jacobs Engineering Group to provide vital assistance and continue ensuring acceptable turnaround times are met.

STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve an amendment to the existing contract with Jacobs Engineering Group for engineering services, increasing its limit to an amount not to exceed $193,000, and approval of the following budgetary transfers to General Fund, Engineering, Professional and Occupational (10055155-53320) to aid in funding this amendment: $16,204 from General Fund, General Government, Contingency (10010000-99000).
