The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action on recommending approval to the Arizona Department of Liquor Licenses and Control for an application for a special event liquor license provided by Brenda Campbell to allow Roots Eatery to serve alcohol during a special event known as Stagecoach Days on October 24 - 25, 2025 at Pacana Park, 19700 N Porter Rd, Maricopa, AZ 85138. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The state of Arizona department of Liquor Licenses and Control requires that an application for a special event license be approved by local government before submission to their office.
In preparation for Stagecoach Days that is planned for October 24 - 25, 2025 at Pacana Park, Brenda Campbell has applied for the City Council's consideration in recommending approval for the special event liquor license.
This is a returning community event in celebration of the city's anniversary and its historical traditions. A celebration of our founding is the focus and being able to incorporate alcoholic beverages in the beer garden provides a unique element of the event when blended with live entertainment. We will not be charging for parking and strongly encouraging complimentary shuttle service.
