TITLE
The Mayor and City Council shall hear public comment regarding Conditional Use Permit case number CUP12-02, a request by Verizon Wireless for review and approval of a wireless antenna on City-owned property at Pacana Park.  
 
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
Verizon Wireless is proposing to replace an existing 70-foot-high ball field light tower at Pacana Park with an 80-foot-high light tower to accommodate a wireless telecommunications antenna mounted above the light fixtures.  This Public Hearing is regarding Verizon's proposal to make this replacement.
 
On July 9, 2012, the Planning and Zoning Commission voted unanimously to recommend the City Council approve this Conditional Use Permit, Case # CUP12-02, subject to conditions as stated in the staff report.
 
STAFF RECOMMENDATION
Staff recommends that the City conduct a Public Hearing for Conditional Use Permit case number CUP12-02.
