The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and possibly take action to enter into an intergovernmental agreement (IGA) between the City of Maricopa Police Department and the Pinal County Division of Animal Care and Control for a two (2) year contract to enhance Public Safety services concerning animal care, control and enforcement. ...AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The intergovernmental agreement (IGA) will provide the City of Maricopa with animal care and control services. The term of the contract will be for two (2) years beginning July 01, 2017. This is a two year extension of an existing IGA and service that is currently being provided to the City of Maricopa by Pinal County Division of Animal Care and Control.
The Intergovernmental agreement shall not exceed $100,842. Funding for the total costs will be taken from the general fund in police suppot services in following line items:

The Intergovernmenal Agreement shall not exceed $100,842 in FY17-18 and is available through the general fund, police support services (10022123).
