TITLE

The Mayor and City Council shall discuss and take action to approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City of Phoenix to conduct maintenance and repair services for its public safety mobile, portable, and associated ancillary radio communications equipment.  Discussion and Action.

 

AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION

The City Council shall discuss and possibly approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) with the City of Phoenix. The City of Maricopa will pay the amount identified in the Labor Rates for Radio Shop Services, Exhibit A, for each service outlined not to exceed $20,000.00. The exhibited rate of $170.00 per hour or an overtime/emergency call out rate of 1.5 times the standard rate ($255.00 per hour). To be paid from their respective department; Fire Department, Repair and Maintenance (10022528-54430-00150). The Police Department will not have any fiscal impact until FY26. This IGA will commence on the Effective Date and shall be renewed automatically each year for a one-year term, unless terminated earlier in writing by either party upon providing the other party with at least 60 days advanced notice.
