TITLE
An Ordinance of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Maricopa, Arizona, adopting "2024 Amendments to Chapter 12: Public places" by reference to amend Chapters 12.05, 12.10, 12.15, 12.30 and 12.40 of the Maricopa City Code and providing for severability and the effective date thereof. Discussion and Action.
AGENDA ITEM DESCRIPTION
The proposed amendments will make certain prohibitions to maintain public decency including; public consumption of alcohol, public drunkenness, public defecation and urination, obstruction of public areas, aggressive solicitation, and camping in watercourses or public rights of way.
This item will be presented by Police Chief Mark Goodman.

Staff recommends that the Mayor and City Council approve the proposed amendments.
